1. This has been the warmest week in my entire time living in Sweden. Too warm. Even a tropical person like me could barely stand the heat. But because of that, I had more reasons to go to the beach and to my surprise, Sweden does have amazing beaches that I couldn't believe my eyes! This is not the cold and dark Sweden I know! On sunny days like these, Sweden just transforms into this glorious happy place that I have never seen before. Clear blue water, white sand, warm golden sun rays, tiny fish and moon jellies. This is the best summer that I've had in this country so far. I'm gonna make a separate post on some of the must-visit-places in Skåne because they deserve it.
2. I found this little place in Malmö that is perfect for meditation, or simply just for reading a book or calming yourself down. That is the beach called Scaniabadet in Västra Hamnen. This beach has no sand but a big wooden dock where everyone sunbathes on. However, the dock is not my favorite since there's usually too many people. My favorite place to sit down is on the big rocks that are on the two sides of the dock. I love a sun-heated big flat rock that is close to the water where I can feel the sun, the wind and the waves hitting the lower-level rocks at the same time. To go to this beach, take bus number 2 from Malmö C direction Västra Hamnen and get off at the last stop. It is not the perfect dreamy sandy beach, but the rocks make it all so special to me.
3. I've been very committed to the gym this week. Yay! I'm definitely not a gym person but since I have promised to take better care of myself, I'm gonna keep on dragging my ass out to the gym for a 30 mins cardio at least 4 times a week. That's good enough for a start, eh?
